The Steam Deck Verified badge may not always be accurate, but it's still awesome to see. It signifies that a game can be played on the Deck and should be a solid experience. Now, it seems Valve is giving a new way to advertise these prestigious games with dedicated pages to show off their Verified status.

Initially seen from a Twitter/X post about Berserk Boy's dedicated page, a bunch of games seem to be getting new landing pages to show off their Steam Deck Verified status. On the page, we can see at the top that it is Verified, shows a trailer on a Steam Deck screen, and then gives us some more details about the game, including current pricing, tags, developer, release date, and reviews. It's a neat little way to show off that the game is great to play on the Deck.

After doing some research, it seems that these pages are not entirely new, but it is being pushed to developers in an odd way. In an article by Liam from GamingOnLinux, he note sthat these pages have been around since 2023, but there seems to be a recent push to developers for this. This was corroborated on BlueSky when the developer of Black Dragon Mage responded to a post of his mentioning they recently received an email about it from Valve.

Valve sent an email to all of us deck verified devs about them just now 🙂

Oddly enough, these pages don't seem to be easily accessible either. Liam notes that these pages exist for most Verified games, but the only way to access them without the developer or publisher linking to it is manually putting in a game's AppID into the address:

https://store.steampowered.com/verified/APPID

I can also confirm that only Verified games will work here. Trying to put in the AppID of a Playable, Unknown, or Unsupported game will just bring it back to the normal Steam page.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Steam Deck Verified Store Page

It's a great way for developers to advertise the coveted badge they earned, but it seems they will need to do some heavy lifting and link to it themselves, as there doesn't seem to be any specific section on their store page to show it. Hopefully, we will be seeing more of these pop up as more developers utilize them!
