Have you ever wanted to see if a Viking could take on a Samurai? Well wonder no more! For Honor, the melee-focused PvP game where you take on your enemies in glorious, up-close combat, got a new update yesterday that updates the Easy Anti-Cheat module to make the game playable on the Steam Deck.

The new update, version 2.45.1, adds in a new fighter, Ocelotl, as well as makes some general improvements. But, further down that list, we see a little section underneath Performance Mode that talks about the Anti-Cheat, with a developer comment specifically mentioning the Steam Deck.

While the game has a Playable badge already, there have been numerous reports on ProtonDB where some mention the game working, while others don't. It goes back and forth, though the most recent reports mention the game not working. Hopefully, this update will fix that and people can get back in to play more on-the-go!
