When it comes to games, I have us flying through space; not many do it like Everspace 2.  The shooter has us going through the vast expanse of space, getting as much glued as we can to make our ship as strong as humanly possible. It’s an incredible game, and it’s finally nearing the end of its update lifespan. However, it’s going out with a little bit of a bang, and its final technical update has some nice improvements for the Steam Deck to get that Verified badge.

In this final technical update, there are a good chunk of tweaks and bug fixes, but there’s one specific improvement that has for the Steam Deck. The font size of the UI elements has increased, which should make it significantly more readable on the smaller screen. This also earned the game its Verified badge; so it can now sport that wonderful green checkmark.

On top of that, we have updated versions of upscalers (as well as FSR 4), improved communication with ship dealers when using the Wraith, fixed issues where large rift bosses could be stuck in asteroids, fixed missile silos in Alpha Draco Plant that couldn’t be destroyed, and much more.
