When it comes to emulation, ES-DE is my go-to program. ES-DE, previously known as Emulation Station-DE, is a graphical frontend that allows you to look through and access all of your emulated games in a cool way with interesting visuals like game covers, screenshots, manuals, and more. It's an awesome program and one I highly recommend using it, especially since the new update that will be coming soon will add more support for emulators and more.

The new 3.2.0 update, which is getting some testing right now, is going to add a lot of awesome new support for emulators and features to the program. Emulator-wise, we will now have support for shadPS4 for PS4 emulation, as well as emulators for the Vircon32 Virtual Console and Sega Mark III. We also have initial support for Xbox One emulators, new RetroArch cores as alternatives for a multitude of systems, and new support for different Flatpaks on Linux and file extensions.
On top of those, there are new system status element symbols for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Battery Status that display on the screen, there's a new Display Clock that you can enable to put the time on screen, there are translations for the Chinese language, you can completely disable the game launch screen, and there have been a lot of background changes for the Linux and Android versions of the program.

The update for ES-DE isn't publicly released yet, but it is currently being tested. You can check out the changelog over on Gitlab. If you want to use ES-DE, you can download it independently from their website or use it on the Steam Deck via EmuDeck or RetroDECK.
