Dune: Awakening is an open-world, multiplayer survival game that has achieved an 85% Very Positive Steam rating with over 28,700 reviews and over 189,000 concurrent players. That is a huge milestone for a Survival game and developer and publisher Funcom. Dune Awakening has an 81 rating on OpenCritic and an 80 rating on Metacritic.

Dune: Awakening has beaten its peak concurrent players record three times since it was released. Conan Exiles has a record of 53,400, while Dune Awakening has recorded over 189,000 concurrent players. Dune: Awakening has become one of the most played games on Steam. Funcom also shared an Accolades trailer earlier today, celebrating a huge milestone for Dune: Awakening.

The Dune Universe is clear due to the visual and aural inspiration that is taken from Denis Villeneuve and other films. VGMAG gives Dune: Awakening the rating of 8.5/10. He also said, “I don’t know of any game world that is more Dune than that of Dune: Awakening.” Dune: Awakening offers so much to the fans who want to explore an open Arrakis.

Dune: Awakening's world is much more than the other authentic and immersive worlds. While IGN scored Dune: Awakening 8/10, Eurogamer gave Dune: Awakening 4/5 and appreciated “superb survival gameplay.” DualShockers said, “I believe Dune: Awakening is one of those games we’ll look back on ten years from now and say, ‘This is one of the best games of all time,” and scored 9/10.

The first four DLC are included in the Dune: Awakening’s Season Pass. The developers are working hard for future improvements and major free content updates, allowing them to boost the story of the game and its mechanics.
