Straight after Summer Game Fest, we were treated to a brand new edition of Day Of The Devs. This hour-long show gave us a look at plenty of upcoming titles and some brand new ones, too. We've gathered all the announcements made at the show in one place for your perusal. Although some of the announcements did seem to overlap with SGF itself.
Some trailers were never uploaded to YouTube by the developers or the event hosts, so I've embedded the full stream at the end of this article, alongside time stamps for the missing trailers, so if you can't find one, head there.
So let's take a look at the games!

Announcements from Day Of The Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition 2025:
Snap and Grab is a New Heist Game, Launching Early Next Year
Snap and Grab looks like an interesting take on the heist genre: Go into a location with your camera, take photos to document both people and objects of interest, and then concoct your plan using the information gathered. Can you pull off the greatest heists while staying one step ahead of the law?
Another Look at Big Walk, a Multiplayer Walking Sim From the Developers of Untitled Goose Game, Releasing in 2026
Big Walk, the next game from the developers behind Untitled Goose Game, got an explanatory trailer during the show. The developers highlighted some features and mechanics of the game, including proximity voice (and text) chat and the exploration aspects of the game.
Surf the Waves in Sword of the Sea, from the Creator of Journey, Releasing August 19th
What do you get if you merge snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing? Apparently, Sword of the Sea. This new game from the creator of ABZU and Journey features a sword-surfing protagonist with a magical world to explore. With movement inspired by the likes of the Tony Hawk games.
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is Bringing an Open World Escape Room Experience
I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the original Escape Academy last year, and now a sequel has been announced. This time, the developers are going for an open world and a more natural approach to the puzzle formula, as opposed to a level-based approach. You'll get to feel what it's like to be a student at the Escape Academy, explore its halls, and the many secrets it holds.
A Deeper Look at Mixtape, a Coming-of-Age Story Backed by Music
Mixtape is a new coming-of-age story from the team behind The Artful Escape. Join three adolescent friends as they start to begin their own stories. There's an all-star cast of musicians backing this one, including The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, and Iggy Pop, so it looks like it could be a good time if just for the music that comes out of it.
A Further Look at the Gameplay of Blighted, a Top-Down Metroidvania, Demo Coming Later in 2025
We got a small look at Blighted during Summer Game Fest, but now, during Day of the Devs, we got a more in-depth look at the game, showcasing more gameplay and some gameplay mechanics too. This hardcore Metroidvania boasts an adaptive difficulty system as well as a pretty wild art style that definitely catches your attention. It also has co-op play!
Take Down Fast-Food in Dosa Divas, Coming Early 2026
In a world where fast food has taken over (so basically this one), it's up to you to get the people enjoying some good old home cooking. Take the fight to your sister's fast-food empire in turn-based combat in this new RPG from the creators of Thirsty Suitors.
Possessor(s), New Action Side-Scroller from the Developers of Hyper Light Breaker, Releasing in 2025, Demo Out Today
Possessors follows the story of Luca, a teenager who lives in a city that has been attacked by demons. After being injured and then possessed by the demon Rhem, the two of them must work together in order to survive and find out just what the city's corporation has been hiding.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault takes the Leap into 3D, Coming Summer 2025
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault drops the previous pixel-art style and puts you straight into a 3D Open World, but still one that oozes plenty of charm. Head into dungeons, find relics, and sell them for a profit! We got a huge look at the gameplay here, so if you're interested, definitely check out the video above.
Please, Watch the Artwork Feels Like Five Nights at Freddy's, Without the Jump Scares
If you couldn't tell, the developer of Please Touch the Artwork is back, this time, with Please Watch the Artwork. Employed at the Museum of Animated Modern Art (MaMA), you're tasked with watching paintings which come alive at night, in a strange kind of spot-the-difference game; it'll be up to you to keep a keen eye and find any anomalies.
Here's Some Gameplay for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Coming Holiday 2025
We got a look at some gameplay for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a co-op brawler that's coming out later this year from the creators of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. This looks like yet another fun time for fans of the genre, and especially for Marvel fans.
Neverway, a Supernatural and Darker Twist on the Farming Sim Genre
When you think of Farming Sims, your mind might be drawn to games like Stardew Valley or Fields of Mistria, happy and cheerful games filled with colour and vibrancy. Neverway, however, turns that on its head, presenting players with a darker world filled with the supernatural. Time also progresses in blocks, which is advanced when you take actions, rather than a constant flow of time. Don't worry, you can still romance the NPCs, though!
Relooted is a Slick Platformer that Tasks Players with Stealing Back Treasures
Relooted is a heist game with a difference. After a treaty was signed between the West and Africa stating that all treasures should be returned to their country of origin, museums exploited a loophole to avoid following the law. Now it's up to you to take it into your own hands and make sure these treasures find their way back to their home. Case the joint, make a plan, and then execute it.
Another Look at Ratatan, Spiritual Successor to Patapon, Coming July 25th, 2025
If you were a fan of the Patapon games from way back on the PSP, then you'll definitely want to check out Ratatan. It's by the same core team from Sony Japan that made the originals, and it looks like more rhythm chaos awaits!
We Get a Peek at Gameplay for Thick as Thieves, Playtest Sign-Ups Available
The PvP heist game Thick as Thieves gave us a look at actual gameplay this time around, rather than the cinematic video we first saw last year. We also got a look at some of the mechanics that will be in play. Unfortunately, the Day of the Devs trailer itself seems not to be uploaded, so I've had to link to the TGA 2024 trailer. You'll be able to find the footage in the full Day of the Devs stream at the end of this article.
Manipulate Data in Pocket Boss, Coming Later in 2025
Ever thought that graphs and reports were a bit boring? Well, in Pocket Boss, it's your job as a remote worker to manipulate data and make sure everything runs smoothly, experience increasingly complex puzzles and data that just doesn't want to be manipulated as you progress.
Consume Me is a Time Management Puzzle Game all About Life, Coming September 25th, 2025
Consume Me is a game all about managing time. You've got tonnes of tasks you need to do in order to keep up with your responsibilities and lifestyle, and only so much time in the day. Each task is a minigame, so can you balance it all and make your life a success?
OFF, the 2008 Cult-Classic is Being Remade for PC and Switch, coming August 15th, 2025
OFF, one of the games that inspired Undertale, was released way back in 2008, based on the RPG Maker 2003 engine. Any who knows that engine will know it doesn't play ball very well with newer platforms. Fortunately, the creator of the game is back to bring OFF up to date for Steam and Nintendo Switch, so you'll be able to experience this crazy world of ghosts.
Tire Boy, a 3D Platforming Adventure, Featuring a... Tire Person.
In Tire Boy, you play as potentially the last Tire Person. Using your unique set of skills, explore the world and see if you can find the answers to your origin, while helping out the locals, too, of course. Unfortunately, again, there is no separate trailer for this one on YouTube, so you'll need to scrub through the full broadcast below to catch this one.
TOEM 2 Gets a Big Gameplay Reveal
TOEM 2 looks to keep a lot of the charm and gameplay of the original TOEM, but with plenty of refinements. With a new movement system allowing for more flexible movement, and a new visual style allowing for more detail, this looks to keep the spirit of TOEM, but make it bigger and better. Again, we don't have access to the trailer for this one; it was the last trailer in the show, so you should be able to scrub along to the end of the video embedded below to catch this one.
And that's it for the Day Of The Devs: Summer Game Fest 2025 Edition Showcase. What did you think? There were plenty of games shown today, including some world premieres. Are there any that you're looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!
If you do want to watch through the hour-long show yourself, you can do so at the embedded video below:
