Pale Coins might sound casual, but the truth is the opposite. It’s actually a brutal open world RPG that is built around the old school era. It’s proving pretty popular on Steam so far, and for the low price tag it is hard to find a better deal. A new patch for Pale Coins dropped that fully focuses on the Steam Deck, making it a good day for us.

The patch notes are small but essential for quality of life on the Deck, including the virtual keyboard support when applicable, a large text scaling option in settings, readability of Bingo goals, and automatic scrolling for input hints. There is also a price increase for the Dry Heart item and a fix for item sorting from newest for items before this patch.

Pale Coins is $9.99 on Steam and rated Playable due to incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, not supporting the display resolution, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard. Luckily, some of these have been fixed with this update!
