Anti-gravity racing is one of the few kinds of racing games that I can still enjoy, and BallisticNG is one of those games I have fun with. It's clearly inspired by classic anti-gravity racers, while adding its own spin to make it more customizable and moddable. It also just got a huge new update that added in some nice Steam Deck changes to help get it Verified!

The Steam Deck-focused adjustments should make the game easier to play and get rid of some conflicts. Now, the virtual keyboard will automatically open up when you need to type something in, and the conflict issue between built-in and external controllers has been fixed. There have also been some heavily redesigned menus that should make it easier to view, and UI scaling now affects menus and the HUD.
On top of that, 2280 mode has had its physics and camera completely rewritten, along with their own set of ships with specific stats, 2159 mode tracks have been reconfigured to work on 2280 mode, enemy AI flare rendering has improved, Model B content has been refined to make it more fun, all the gamemodes have seen some updates to eliminate as many bugs as possible, Photomode has some new features like FOV setting updates, and so much more.
The update is massive, and you can check out the full changelog via their Steam Community Post.

BallisticNG is $14.99 on Steam and is rated Verified.
