We're gradually receiving more details about AYANEO's new flagship handheld, the AYANEO 3. Two new features were revealed today in a teaser video that dropped on the AYANEO YouTube channel, namely, the device will feature a Magnetic Suspension Motor for its vibration, which will supposedly grant more intense and more responsive vibration feedback.
Secondly, the AYANEO 3 aims to fix the age-old Western Vs. Japanese argument of where the "A" button belongs on a controller, is by having the face buttons be hot-swappable. Yes, you can literally take the buttons out and place them in another slot. So if you were an absolute deviant, you could place the "Y" button on the bottom, but you wouldn't do that, would you?
Here's the video in full, so you can see it all for yourself:
What do you think? Are these features worth being excited about? Talk of vibration and "feedback" are always difficult to believe or understand when they're being presented like this, as unless you hold the device, you have no way of knowing if there is any real difference between previous methods used.
The hot-swappable buttons are pretty cool though, and I do wonder what method will be used to remove and place the buttons as you would imagine they are locked in fairly tight so they don't come loose during play.
We don't know when the AYANEO 3 will launch, but we do know that it'll be available in at least 2 models, you can find out more info about that in the previous article we wrote about the AYANEO 3.
