It has been 11 years since the last mainline entry into the Armored Core series and with the next game coming soon, excitement has never been higher. To keep fanning the flames, Bandai Namco has released a new CGI trailer that takes a look at the story for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon and gives us a glimpse of the struggles of Rubicon 3.

The trailer shows the intense and epic events leading up to the beginning of the Armored Core 6. Turning a profit on Rubicon 3 is brutal and with groups like Walter's Hounds executing their missions with cold-blooded determination, you will have your work cut out for you. The story looks like it will be an epic one and worthy of a successor to this awesome franchise.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be released on August 25th and can be pre-ordered for $60 or wishlisted on Steam. Per the minimum specs, I do have a feeling this will run on the Steam Deck, though it will need to be 30 FPS or 40 on lower settings.
