The trailer of the paid Expansion Pass for the ARK: Lost Colony update has been released, unveiling important story elements for the expansion. The full expansion will be available in December on Steam and Consoles.

ARK: Survival Ascended will get two updates, including Ragnarok Ascended and the Lost Colony Expansion Pass, on June 19. The trailer for Ragnarok Ascended will also be released in the coming days.

ARK Lost Colony

Dive into this massive canonical expansion pack, ARK: Lost Colony, to confront the demons of Arat Prime, birthplace of the ARKs. Michelle Yeoh stars as Mei Yin in cinematic anime sequences by Japanese studio MAPPA in ARK: Lost Colony. The upcoming DLC expansion is an epic story between ARK Extinction and ARK Genesis and will directly link to ARK 2. Studio Wildcard teased ARK 2 with the upcoming release of the Lost Colony expansion.

Lost Colony Expansion Pass includes some early access content and access to the exclusive bonuses in the game. Gain unique passive buffs and controlled descents from the Fantastic Tames: Drakelings, which are seasonal shoulder dragons. Acquire tactical breath attacks and ally support by wielding these two bonuses. The full potential will be unlocked by collecting all four.

Gain access to the aura-based buffs for defense, offense, and speed by collecting the Veilwyn Companion (mystical creature). At the full launch, this will merge into one of two forms. Get into the three distinct paths to gain access to a new progression system in the Lost Skill Tree System. This allows you to specialize your Survivor: master of creatures, resourceful survivor, or seasoned explorer.

Template Hammer is another bonus that allows you to save and replicate your structures as reusable templates. You can also enhance your base underground with a TEK environment with the help of the TEK Bunker. Last but not least, you also gain DarkTek Cosmetics, which includes armor component skins, sword skin, and Dark Drakeling skin.

Get ready to confront the demons of Arat Prime in the full expansion. This paid expansion will allow you to get connected to the storylines of ARK Extinction and Genesis, leading into the events of ARK 2. ARK: Lost Colony will be released in December 2025 at $29.99 and is now available to wishlist on Steam.
