The SDHQ Podcast on Patreon

Hello to all of our awesome readers! Today is the start of a new week, which means the next episode of our Patreon-exclusive podcast has dropped. However, while this announcement is great on its own, I am also excited to talk about the next new Patreon perk that will be available to our two middle tiers ($3 and $5).

From here on, we will be conducting polls, asking questions about upcoming content, and Patrons will be able to give us their thoughts on what they would like to see next. This can range in the content coming up. For example, right now we are asking Patrons what Steam Deck Vs. Switch 2 article/video they would like to see next, but we also plan to have some interviews and will invite Patrons to suggest specific questions they would like us to ask. There may be some other polls we conduct via Patreon as well, so if you want to have your voice heard and suggest what you want to see next, consider subscribing to either the $3 or $5 tier.

For those who subscribe to the $5 tier, the new SDHQ Podcast episode is up. In this episode, we go over some of the biggest games that we reviewed and played during the first week of September, including Silksong and Cronos, as well as Helldivers 2 getting Steam Deck support, the new SteamOS beta update, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. It's a full 1 hour and 30 minutes of good times and news you may have missed. The Podcast does have an RSS feed attached to it, so you should be able to easily listen outside of Patreon.

I am currently working on setting up some Game Nights, and the Classics on Deck videos are being worked on. There's been a lot of trial and error with video editing, since I am working on brand new types of videos like the Steam Deck Vs. Switch 2 comparisons, Verified/Playable highlights, and some more comparisons and unique content are coming soon, but we are moving straight ahead with it. We plan to start at the beginning of the Classics on Deck series, which means diving into how we got Unreal Tournament 3 and Black & White running on the Deck with some direct gameplay capture.

Overall, there's a lot we are working on, and that includes all of our reviews, news, guides, and more that are progressing smoothly. Thank you to everyone who is supporting us, whether it's by reading our articles or subscribing to us on Patreon. We all very much appreciate it, especially with the encroaching AI presence.

You can head to our Patreon page to subscribe to us. If you choose the $3 tier, you will get access to the new polls, as well as ad-free website browsing, and be listed as a supporter on all of our YouTube videos. You will also get SOME podcast episodes available to check out. If you choose the $5 tier, you will get access to all our podcast episodes, as well as upcoming Classics on Deck videos, event VLOGs, access to game nights, and everything included in the $3 tier.
