It makes me sad when I see games being delisted from stores. Whether it be because of expired licenses or other reasons, it’s an unfortunate event to see a game leaving the storefront and making it harder to get and play. And sadly, that’s the case for another game on Steam, but there’s some time in a huge discount to add it to your library ASAP.

Witchaven

Witchaven 1 and Witchaven 2 are both going to be leaving Steam on June 15th. These retro first-person shooters were first released in 1995 and 1996, respectively, and they were re-released on Steam with some big fixes from the community and some other improvements. The games also include the original DOS versions, so you can choose which version you want to play.

On top of that, the games are both on a heavy sale until they leave Steam. They are both 90% off, bringing them to under $1 each, but you can also get them in a bundle for $1.48. With how LEGO 2K Drive was delisted from Steam without any discounts and only a 1-week notice, this is significantly better and much more friendly to consumers.

Now, I also want to mention that both of these games are on GOG and are similarly on sale, but they are a little bit cheaper. It’s about $0.80 for each individually, while the bundle together is $1. It’s safe to assume that the games will be listed from GOG as well, but if you want the added protection of DRM-free copies instead of just licenses that will stay available after delisting, I would recommend getting them there. GOG games are still very playable on the Steam Deck with a plugin or the third-party launcher, so it shouldn’t be a problem playing on the go, regardless.

Witchaven2Stock1

Witchaven 1 and 2 will be delisting from stores on June 15th, so there’s about 3 weeks to get it while you still can!
