Warside had a pretty unfortunate launch, but despite its flaws, I still find some enjoyment in this tactical RPG. The game’s still getting frequent updates, and a new patch dropped that takes care of some rather irritating bugs.

The main fix that affects us on the Steam Deck is the camera lock bug that sometimes happens when waking the device up from sleep, but there are other good changes. Shaders return properly when using the Mission Editor, a bunch of crashes during the Credits sequence have been fixed, and the AI has been tweaked slightly so they can use their Battle Powers more effectively. There are more than these in the patch, but these are the notable ones for Warside.
