I can't say I play many autobattlers in general nowadays, but Vault of Power looks intriguing. You put down your units strategically and watch them attack the enemy team, and with randomized encounters and mixing skills, it looks like an interesting game. It also just got an update earlier today that should make it more enjoyable on the Steam Deck!

The update that was released today was mostly focused on quality of life changes and bugfixing, but it includes one specific improvement for the Steam Deck. There were some 16:10 resolution issues with the game that plagued it. However, those should now be completely fixed, so we can enjoy the game without any black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
The remainder of the update has some solid improvements as well. The coin limit has been increased to 999, the Sandstorm effect kicks in after 60 seconds of the battle to make sure it doesn't go on forever, Sigil Stone now correctly removes 15 gold, and there were updates for Korean, Japanese, and Portuguese translations in-game.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Vault of Power is on sale for $9.95 until April 14th.
