There are tons of amazing games available to play, yet for whatever reason, I always end up gravitating back to idle games. Unnamed Space Idle is one of them, and it's so much fun. It's just so addicting to see how my ship progresses the more I play and the further I get, and at the fantastic price of $0, it is awesome to just get in and play! It doesn't have controller support, but it really doesn't need it either. To celebrate being released on Steam for 1 year, we have a new update with a new event and an awesome giveaway for a Steam Deck!

The giveaway is happening over on their official Discord server, and encourages you to play the game and see how far you can get! There are two giveaways open currently. There is one with 5 winners to get a $50 Steam Giftcard, while the other can get you a 512GB OLED Steam Deck! The amount of entries corresponds to how far you have gotten in the game, so the further you get, the more entries you get! You are able to link your game with Discord by going to your settings and generating a code to enter. Once done, enter the code in the #role-link channel, then you can go to the #giveaway channel once your role is updated and enter the giveaways! You may have to force Discord to update your role, which you can do in the settings in-game. They both go for 15 days, so there is time to grind and get more entries.
The Steam Deck giveaway is for US residents only, while the gift card giveaway is for anybody!

On top of this, we have the new update! There's a small mini game that was added where you harvest anomalies to earn boosts and AI points, and some bug fixes for some missing warnings and a grace period to some achievements so they trigger more reliably. There's also a new ship design that can be earned via the event, which looks quite nice and gold!
The information for the event and changelog is available on their Steam Community Post.
You can download Unnamed Space Idle over on Steam, and since it is free, there isn't much to lose!
