Ahead of Gamescom 2025, CRITICAL REFLEX (Mouthwashing, Buckshot Roulette) is excited to announce two innovative PC titles joining its publishing lineup from talented solo developers. Burden Street Station and HEAVY AS STONE are two different upcoming games from different genres.

CRITICAL REFLEX will be at Gamescom at Hall 10, Section 2, Booth 37, and PAX West at Booth 417.

Burden Street Station allows players to shapeshift during conversations, allowing them to unveil how God went missing in this non-linear narrative adventure game. This upcoming action-adventure title is inspired by the visual language of ‘90s adventure games, urging the players to collect personality traits during talking and exploration. Get access to dialogue options and progress in the main storyline by wearing personality traits.

In HEAVY AS STONE, you work for Atsmith Life Insurance Co. and must investigate deaths in a 1920s Prohibition-era city. Uncovering cases and causes of illness is required to progress in the game. Determine insurance payouts by examining case files, visiting crime scenes, and building narratives. You will encounter the consequences of your search for answers during the investigation, so make sure to adapt in order to survive Terminal's seedy underbelly of bootleggers.

Fans can now wishlist Burden Street Station and HEAVY AS STONE on Steam, along with other CRITICAL REFLEX’s titles like Eclipsium and CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs.
