The Last of Us is one of my favorite story-driven games I have played in a long time, and even though The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered isn't as revered as the first game, it's still really great. The new Chronological mode in the game allowed us to play the third-person shooter in a brand new way, which is just awesome, and the newest update should make it better to play on the go.

In the newest update, we have a specific issue that plagued the Steam Deck get fixed, and it's one I very much appreciate. There was some issue with enabling Motion Sensor Function Aiming when using the Deck or any Steam Input controllers, which interfered with gyro aiming. Gyro aiming is one of my favorite features in shooters, and being able to make subtle movements to fine-tune aiming is very helpful.
The rest of the update addresses other bugs and improvements to make it more enjoyable to play. There was a rare progression blocker that caused your pistol to disappear and unable to shoot, a bug that corrupted leaves near the floor tank in the aquarium has been fixed, and an animation bug that allowed Abby to run during the Ground Zero chapter in Chronological mode has been fixed. There have also been some general stability and performance optimizations.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is $49.99 and is rated Verified.
