Amazingly, this is a game I haven't yet played, but Teardown looks to be a lot of fun, and it's about to get a lot more entertaining as the developers have announced that multiplayer is being added to the game later this year.
This includes campaign co-op, competitive, and sandbox modes. If you want to get an idea of what that might look like, then check out the multiplayer teaser trailer down below:
The Teardown developers note that multiplayer had always been a feature they wanted to implement and that it had also been highly requested by the community, and now they are finally able to deliver on that dream.
At first, multiplayer will be added to an "Experimental" branch of Teardown on Steam, which players can opt-in to play. Then, the developers will open up the game's API to modders, to allow the modding community to make multiplayer-compatible mods. Eventually, they will bring the multiplayer mode to the masses by making it a standard part of the game.
They also note how the 3rd and 4th major DLCs are in development, with more details coming later in 2025.

Teardown is available now on Steam, with multiplayer being added to the game later this year. The game is Steam Deck Verified according to Valve's testing.
