I love the whole concept behind Sunderfolk. It's a turn-based RPG where you play with friends, but instead of a gamepad, you use your phone as the controller. This makes it easier to play with only one copy of the game needed, and as someone who loves the Jackbox Party Pack titles, this is right up my alley. To top it off, a new update that was released should make it better for Steam Deck users as well.

The game's second update is labeled as a hotfix and includes some nice changes. There are two fixes that were specifically implemented for the Steam Deck, which should make it better to play overall. The game will no longer freeze when launching the starting sequence and the resolution settings will now display the way they should.
The update also fixes an issue where some players wouldn't have a QR code displayed on the main menu like it should and there shouldn't be any issues that prevent authentication with online services anymore. The increase hand size and passive upgrade level up rewards are also now rewarded as they should when a hero performs multiple level ups.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Sunderfolk is available for $49.99 and is rated Playable due to not supporting the native resolution of the Deck. However, this update should fix the issue and be good to go for a green checkmark!
