Strange Seed is one of those bizarre games I’ll always be intrigued by, even if the execution isn’t always perfect. If you remember the Creature stages from Spore back in the day, Strange Seed is similar to that. It is fairly solid as a game and a lot of fun to explore. A new patch has gone live, building upon the game’s solid launch.

This is a small patch as things go, but it builds upon the previous one. The framerate drops in the Honey Cliffs location were caused by a rogue script, causing a ton of lag in the background. This has now been fixed, with a reported increase of framerate between 2 and 9 FPS gains on the Steam Deck.
