There are so many great games to get and play on the Steam Deck, and finding good deals to expand on our libraries is always great. Today, there's a new game to add to our libraries for free that used to be one of my favorites, and is part of one of the best series out there with a variety of different genres attached to it.

SteamWorld Dig, the first game in the SteamWorld series, is free to keep on Steam until June 26th, and it's an awesome game to play. You go through a metroidvania-like world where you will dig dig dig, gather materials to upgrade your tools, fight enemies, solve puzzles, and more to save your dying town. It's an amazing game and one I recommend playing.
On top of that, it's a perfect game to play on the Steam Deck. Not only is it Verified on Steam and have a Platinum rating on ProtonDB, it's also a native Linux game that works on the Deck right out of the box. It's really a perfect portable game, and being able to get it for free is awesome.
Some of the other games in the series are also on sale right now as well! SteamWorld Dig 2, SteamWOrld Build, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamesh, and SteamWorld Quest are all heavily discounted, and with each of them being amazing games on their own that are on sale by over 80%, it's hard to not recommend picking them all up.

SteamWorld Dig can be added to your library for free from their Steam page, and the offer lasts until June 26th at 10am PT.
