A new SteamOS Beta update was released a few days ago with a few small fixes here and there. The Allow Tearing option will no longer result in graphical artifacts beyond the tear line, dynamic detection of HDMI audio channel count has been improved, and there have been even more stability and security updates.
You can download the updates yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview for the beta update, while the stable update should just be available in any update channel.
