Last week had a TON of games that were rated Steam Deck verified/playable by Valve! Here are the highlights we found in the pile of awesome games there:
Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing right out-of-the-box. Some of these games require work to optimize and play well.
FALLOUT 76 (Playable)
Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America. Explore a vast wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story. Join the new faction of Responders as they help the members of The Union trapped in The Pitt or traverse the wasteland in this RPG.
The game is $40 and rated playable due to some small in-game text and entering some text requires manually invoking the on-screen keyboard.
HIGH ON LIFE (Verified) (SDHQ Review)
Fresh out of high school with no job and no ambition, you’ve really got nothing going for you until an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity. Travel to a variety of biomes and locations across the cosmos, go up against the nefarious Garmantuous and his gang of goons, collect loot, meet unique characters, and more, all with your trusty talking guns.
The game is $60 and rated verified.
IMPALER (Verified) (SDHQ Review)
Impaler is a minimalist arena shooter similar to awesome games like DOOM and Prodeus. Summon spikes to slay monsters, build barriers, and reach higher ground as the rogue-like elements ensure each run is a unique challenge. Overcome the increasingly difficult hordes of monsters by upgrading your weapons & abilities. Impaler has a retro art style, a great soundtrack, and a custom engine for extra smooth frame rates.
The game is $3 and rated verified. It is also a Best on Deck game and very much deserves that rating!
NIOH : COMPLETE EDITION (Playable) (SDHQ Review)
Experience the brutal action game from Team NINJA and Koei Tecmo Games. In the age of samurai, a lone traveler lands on the shores of Japan. He must fight his way through the vicious warriors and supernatural Yokai that infest the land in order to find that which he seeks. The Complete Edition contains the full game, as well as the three expansions with additional story chapters: Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor, and Bloodshed's End. If you like Dark Souls, this game will be up your alley.

RESIDENT EVIL 6 (Verified)
Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 is a dramatic horror experience that pushes the series further into action. With four distinct, interwoven story threads with their own pair of protagonists for you can enjoy in either solo or co-op play, offline or online, with wildly different perspectives and gameplay styles. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay. You can also use skill points to upgrade your character to provide faster reload speed, improved firepower or increase your health bar with the Character Skill system.

CAVE STORY+ (Playable)
You wake up in a dark cave with no memory of who you are, where you came from, or why you're in such a place. Then you uncover Mimiga Village, where you discover that the once-carefree Mimigas are in danger at the hands of a maniacal scientist. Now, you must run, jump, shoot, fly, and explore your way through a massive action-adventure reminiscent of classic 8- and 16-bit games. Take control and learn the origins of this world’s power, stop the delusional villain and save the Mimiga!

Yes. We included G-Force. You can be a hamster, what more could you ask for?

ONE PIECE ODYSSEY (Playable) (SDHQ Review)
In the midst of their latest ocean voyage, the Straw Hat Pirates saw their ship swallowed by a mighty storm. Shipwrecked, the crew members wash ashore on the mysterious island of Waford, a place blessed with natural gifts and protected by a ring of storms all around. Now, embark on a grand adventure using the unique abilities of each member of the Straw Hat Pirates. The game’s adventure system allows players to take advantage of each crew member’s special abilities to unlock the mystery at the heart of the island, all while partaking in turn-based combat to regain what was lost.

SPARKLITE (Playable)

TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION® 2 (Playable)
The fate of the free world is on the line. Lead a team of elite agents into a post-pandemic Washington DC to restore order and prevent the collapse of the city. The Division 2 is an online, action-shooter RPG experience where exploration and player-progression are essential. Specialize and fight together with your friends in online co-op or against others in competitive adversial PVP mode. Choose a unique class specialization to take on the toughest challenges with friends while collecting and upgrading gear and guns to be as powerful as possible.

The Wandering Village is a city-building simulation game on the back of a giant, wandering creature. Build your settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with the colossus you live on top of. HI-FI RUSH (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

BIT DUNGEON III (Verified)
Bit Dungeon III is a 2d action adventure game with rogue-lite elements with a andomly generated overworld and dungeons. Make allies with other players or kill them for their precious inventory items while discovering random loot that greatly enhance and affect your character. Level up based on which weapon you use and change weapons to start leveling up that weapon type going towards your general level. You can also augment your character through changeable stat runes collected throughout your adventure.

GUNGRAVE G.O.R.E (Verified) (SDHQ Review)
Gungrave G.O.R.E is a stylish third-person action shooter by South-Korean Studio IGGYMOB in which you take on the role of Grave, a gunslinger of resurrection (and badass anti-hero of your dreams), mowing down tons of enemies in a gory ballet of bullets. Taking cover and retreating is not an option for Grave, he only ever goes full steam ahead, preferably right through his enemies. Strap in for a wild ride, an epic & emotional story of vengeance, love, and loyalty, with more than 12 hours of gameplay in the story mode, for Gungrave fans and newcomers alike.

MYST (Verified)
