Valve brought over some awesome games this week into the Playable/Verified status! Here are the highlights we found from this past week to check out.

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing right out-of-the-box. Some of these games require work to optimize and play well.

TOTAL WAR : ATTILA (Playable)

With new period-specific technologies, arms and armaments, religion, cultures and social upheaval, Total War: ATTILA delivers an authentic experience of this ominous chapter of our history.

SURVIVE THE NIGHTS (Playable)

Survive the Nights is a unique FPS survival game focusing on teamwork, fortification, creativity and strategy. The game focuses on realistic survival, post zombie infestation. Preparing during daylight hours when moving around the world is less risky, all to prep for the dangerous nights. You can also play as a team to better your chances to survive each night. How many nights will you survive?

The game is $25 and rated playable due to some in-game text that may difficult to read, manual configuration of graphics settings to perform well on Steam Deck, and you might need a community or modified controller layout.

IT LURKS BELOW (Playable)

It Lurks Below is a retro-styled, 2D, action-oriented, survival RPG game. Create a custom character and choose from several different classes before delving deep into the mysteries of what evil lurks below. Dig down and explore the randomly generated levels, find random items, and combat deadly monsters to get the answers.

The game is $20 and rated playable due to some functionality not being accessible when using the default controller configuration and some small in-game text.

THE GUNK (Playable)

The Gunk is an action-adventure game in which you play as Rani, part of our duo of gritty space haulers. As they’re struggling to bring in funds, they chance upon an untouched planet brimming with life. They came in search of valuable resources, and it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot. Use your trusty Power Glove to reverse the corruption, uncover secrets of old, and heal the planet! The Gunk invites you to take the time and listen to its soothing tunes while exploring an atmosphere conveyed through an evocative art style. Kick your feet back and enjoy an adventure like no other!

THE WANDERING VILLAGE (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

COOKING SIMULATOR (Verified)

Time to become the ultimate chef! Take control of a highly polished, realistic kitchen equipped with all kinds of utensils and stands. Unlock and master over 80 recipes or use dozens of lifelike ingredients to cook everything you like. You’ll start from the basics and progressively unlock new more complex dishes and start serving more customers as your fame and experience grow. However, if you’re not interested in playing by the rules, you’re going to love the Sandbox mode which allow you to access all the recipes and ingredients and prepare whatever you like without any pressure.

The game is $20 and rated verified.

TITANFALL® 2 (Playable)

RIVER CITY SAGA : THREE KINGDOMS (Verified)

Kunio, the beloved hot-blooded renegade, is back to wreak havoc in the world of the Three Kingdoms! The characters take on the roles of famous generals for a game packed with wild action. Take down enemies to level up! Master the 10 Tactics available to attack the enemy, generate items, and more, and get yourself out of a tough spot in this 2D beat-em-up.

The game is $30 and rated verified.
