There was a good chunk of new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games this week. Final Fantasy Resonance and War Thunder both got the green checkmarks, while Monster Hunter Wilds and Cat Mail Co. are both now rated Playable.

Final Fantasy Resonance (Verified)

The game can be pre-purchased for $49.99 ahead of its October 22nd release date and is rated Verified.

War Thunder (Verified)

War Thunder is the most comprehensive free-to-play, cross-platform, MMO military game dedicated to aviation, armoured vehicles, and naval craft, from the early 20th century to the most advanced modern combat units. Join now and take part in major battles on land, in the air, and at sea.

The game is free to play and is rated Verified.

Monster Hunter Wilds (Playable)

The unbridled force of nature runs wild and relentless, with environments transforming drastically from one moment to the next. This is a story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality.

The game is $69.99 and is rated Playable due to needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.

Cat Mail Co. (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Run a cozy cat post office. Sort and deliver parcels from the daily boat, organizing everything your way. At night, the moon reveals hidden truths about packages. Clear a strange backlog, help locals, and unlock new abilities and destinations.

The game is on sale for $12.74 until July 23rd and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.

The Abyss Below (Verified)

The year is 1997. Pilot a small submersible into the depths of the Pacific to investigate a massive sonar anomaly. Navigate by instruments, scan targets, and uncover something far older than it should be.

The game is $4.99 and is rated Verified.

Star Birds (Playable)

Star Birds is a chill factory building and resource management game. Mine asteroids and create brain-twisting production networks. Level by level, you guide your feathered crew to new interstellar horizons!

The game is $19.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons.

Backyard Baseball (Playable)

The arcade-style classic is back - and it's leveling up. With enhanced gameplay, new game modes, and all the humor & charm of the original, this is Backyard Baseball like it was always meant to be played. Are you ready to play like a kid again?

The game is $39.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons and small in-game text.

Voodoo Fishin’ (Verified)

A creepy-cozy co-op fishing game for 1–4 players with proximity voice chat. Explore a haunted swamp for rare fish, sell your haul by the pound, and try to survive what hunts you in the dark.

The game is $9.99 and is rated Verified.

Stronghold 3 Gold (Playable)

Set 10 years after the original, Stronghold 3: Gold follows the vengeful story of The Wolf in the third installment of the award-winning castle building series. The Wolf has cheated death become even more bitter and twisted. Build castles, rally your troops and save medieval England!

Clockfall (Playable)

Master the clock, break the loop. Time is limited and is the ultimate resource in this hybrid Dungeon Crawler packed with phases of village defense. Each run is a fight to earn more time, or unlock new weapons and skills to build your escape.
