Over the past week, we had a ton of great new games get their Steam Deck Verified/Playable badges. Great new releases like The King is Watching, upcoming games like Whisper Mountain Outbreak, and established games like Towerborne all got their badges, and it's wonderful to see.
Here are the 13 highlights we found:
Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazingly out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

The King is Watching (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

The game is $14.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text. There is also no controller support for the game either.
RoadCraft (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

As the leader of a company specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters, use your construction machinery to restart the local industry. Clear debris and faulty equipment, rebuild roads and bridges damaged by weather, and much more!
The game is on sale for $31.99 until August 4th and is rated Verified.
Towerborne (Verified)

Towerborne is a new kind of Looter Brawler, combining side-scrolling combat with action RPG loot progression and endless customization. Unite with other Aces and defend the Belfry, humanity’s last refuge. Explore, fight, and grow stronger – together.
The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Playable)

Get hyped for the legendary franchise to return with Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4. Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more.
The game is $49.99 and is rated Playable due to needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard and small in-game text.
The Drifter (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Descenders Next (Verified)
