Over the past week, we had a ton of great new games get their Steam Deck Verified/Playable badges. Great new releases like The King is Watching, upcoming games like Whisper Mountain Outbreak, and established games like Towerborne all got their badges, and it's wonderful to see.

Here are the 13 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazingly out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

The King is Watching (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

The King is Watching is a roguelite kingdom builder. Rule by the power of your royal gaze! Decide between producing resources, training armies, or balancing both, while adapting to unique events every run

The game is $14.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text. There is also no controller support for the game either.

RoadCraft (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

As the leader of a company specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters, use your construction machinery to restart the local industry. Clear debris and faulty equipment, rebuild roads and bridges damaged by weather, and much more!

The game is on sale for $31.99 until August 4th and is rated Verified.

Towerborne (Verified)

Towerborne is a new kind of Looter Brawler, combining side-scrolling combat with action RPG loot progression and endless customization. Unite with other Aces and defend the Belfry, humanity’s last refuge. Explore, fight, and grow stronger – together.

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Playable)

Get hyped for the legendary franchise to return with Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4. Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more.

The game is $49.99 and is rated Playable due to needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard and small in-game text.

The Drifter (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

A Pulp Adventure Thriller - A murdered drifter awakens. Alive again, seconds before his death. Hunted and haunted, help him untangle a mad web of conspiracy in this fast-paced point 'n click thrill-ride.

The game is on sale for $16.99 until July 31st and is rated Verified.

No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES (Playable)

Iris has been abducted by aliens?! Finding herself on board a mysterious UFO and tasked with completing a bizarre escape game, Iris knows there's one person who she can always count on for help: Kaname Date, Psyncer!

The game is $39.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to set the display resolution manually.

Descenders Next (Verified)

Grab your board and master the mountain! Descenders Next is the ultimate extreme sports game, with sprawling snowy peaks, winding dirt tracks, and tons of parks to conquer. Will you and your friends become the Next Ultimate Descenders?

The game is on sale for $26.99 and is rated Verified.

Wheel World (Verified)

The game is on sale for $17.99 until August 6th and is rated Verified.

EDENS ZERO (Verified)

This is a 3D action role-playing game based on the space fantasy comic/anime EDENS ZERO by Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail and Rave Master. The player controls a diverse cast of characters as they embark on an epic adventure across different planets while battling powerful enemies!

The game is $59.99 and is rated Verified.

Whisper Mountain Outbreak (Playable)

Escape room meets co-op survival horror. The year is 1998, and an ancient curse has been unleashed, trapping everyone on Mount Bisik. Alone or with up to 4 players, you must explore, find clues, figure out a way to escape...and survive the horror.

The game can be wishlisted ahead of its August 11th release date and is rated Playable due to small in-game text, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and showing incorrect controller icons.

Many Nights a Whisper (Verified)

A short interactive essay on dreams, pressure, and expectations. Take part in an ancient ritual where one shot determines the fate of a generation.

The game is $2.99 and is rated Verified.

Hyperspaced (Verified)

Blast your enemies, extinguish fires, clean up, repair, recycle and explore where no one has screwed up before! Team up and face swarms of foes as you pilot your way through a procedurally generated galaxy. Save the Multiverse in Hyperspaced, a chaotic co-op space action game for 1-4 players!

Relic Hunters Legend (Verified)

A Top-Down Shooter/Looter RPG with a touching story inspired by JRPG classics. Shoot enemies, get loot, and customize your characters. Multiple endgame systems and over 100 hours of play await you solo or up to 4-player co-op!

The game is on sale for $3.74 until August 4th and is rated Verified.
