The first week of January has passed, and now we can see which new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games have gotten their badges. The upcoming CAIRN and DuneCrawl got their Verified badges, while Lost Ember: Rekindled Edition, Inotia 4, and Girl Frame all got their Playable badges.
Here are the 8 highlights we found:
Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazingly out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.
Steam Deck Verified/Playable Highlights 12/29/25 - 1/4/25
CAIRN (Verified)

Girl Frame (Playable)

Girl Frame: A sci-fi meat-and-pigeon survival shooting game, control mechas to fight against the mutant tide of Crusus, manage your own space base, cultivate beautiful girl pilots, fast-paced mowing × dynamic strategic choices, and experience interstellar survival under the collapse of san value.

The date in the article title is incorrect. It should say 1/4/26 instead of 1/4/25. The new year always causes these sorts of mistakes for me too, lol.
