There were some great new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games to enjoy over the past week. Haste finally got its Verified badge, while The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon and the upcoming MENACE both got their Playable badges.

Here are the 10 highlights we found:

The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

The future of an entire continent is at stake in this milestone entry in the Trails series! Explore the vast Calvard Republic with three different protagonists, nurture connections, and master powerful skills in both real-time and turn-based battles as you uncover the secrets at the core of Zemuria!

The game is $59.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons and small in-game text.

Haste (Verified)

Run fast, soar through the air, and master your landings as you speed through procedural worlds to outrun the end of the universe, by yourself and with friends!

The game is on sale for $13.99 until January 31st and is rated Verified.

MENACE (Playable)

Lead a strike force against an alien threat in this turn-based tactical RPG from the developers of Battle Brothers. Answer distress calls across different worlds, train and equip infantry, deploy tanks and mechs, and plan and execute missions in detailed turn-based battles.

The game will be released on February 5th and is rated Playable due to small in-game text, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, needing a community controller configuration, and showing incorrect controller icons.

Sultan's Game (Verified)

The Sultan commands you to play a cruel game. Each week you draw a card, and have to complete its challenge within seven days. Forced to make dreadful choices to beat the Sultan’s Game and save your own life, you will have to find a way to survive not just the Game, but its consequences too.

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

Earth of Oryn (Playable)

A medieval kingdom-builder focused on meaningful decision-making and long-term strategy. Rule your lands, manage resources, plan your expansion, and guide your settlement from humble beginnings to a thriving realm as the seasons turn.

The game is on sale for $13.49 until February 2nd and is rated Playable due to small in-game text, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, needing a community controller configuration, needing to set the resolution manually, and showing incorrect controller icons.

Big Pharma (Playable)

What if you had it in your power to rid the world of disease, to improve the lives of millions, to ease suffering and cure the sick… and earn a tidy profit? As the head of your own Pharmaceutical Conglomerate you have this power resting in your hands. Will you use it for good?

The game is $24.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and showing incorrect controller icons.

Crossout (Verified)

Crossout - the postapocalyptic MMO action game where you can create a unique design for an armoured vehicle from dozens of parts and then drive it into multiplayer battles raging on land and in the skies alike.

The game is free to play and is rated Verified.

Bladesong (Playable)

The ultimate swordmaking game. Forge unique weapons with freeform blade shaping and modular hilts, perfectly balanced to your customers’ needs. Master the art of smithing and uncover the secrets of Eren Keep, a last haven of a dying world – or so they say.

Endless Alice (Verified)

Once Upon a Shell (Verified)

Once Upon a Shell is a roguelike racing game of ridiculous speed and wild upgrades. As a tortoise, use your shell to your advantage and slide downhill to generate speed. Build movement combos between races and prove that even a tortoise can lift The Hare Cup.

The game is free to play and is rated Verified.
