A new small Steam Deck Beta Client update was deployed yesterday, and it has a nice change for how demos work. Now, you can install and uninstall demos remotely from your profile games list. This should make it a lot easier to manage demos when you aren't near your computer or Steam Deck. Valve also fixed a rare crash with controller configurations that have multiple command bindings.
You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.
