Splitgate 2 has an open beta running till its 1.0 launch this summer and brings a lot of new modes, weapons, maps, and features to the table starting from today.

The final beta has fast-action gunplay across the different modes that the game will have when it’s released. 1047 Games also confirms one more surprise for all the players on the launch day. It’s best to stay locked in, as the player progression won't be reset after the beta.

The full beta of Splitgate 2 shows what the 1047 team has been hard at work on since 2022. It will be live through Splitgate 2’s 1.0 launch. The new map creator of Splitgate 2 allows you to design your own maps, along with game mods. Start from scratch and make something astonishing.

The arena maps are here, including Bypass, Eden, Frontier, Ozone, and Zenith. Drought and Fracture are the two new additions in the Onslaught modes. This was previously known as Multi-Team Portal Warfare in the last Alpha. The beta includes three additional new maps that join Splitgate 2. There are also new power weapons that you can use against enemies. Borealis is a new, unique power weapon from the Meridian faction.

Hunt the Devs is an event during the Open Alpha, and it will return. You don’t need to use any money to gain the exclusive skin. Defeat a 1047 dev wearing the special flaming disco ball skin during the match to gain Dev Killer skin. You can collect the Aeros, Sabrask, and Meridian factions.

The open beta will include more than 25 weapons. Make sure to check the devastating and powerful Goliath Revolver. FUBAR is a triple rocket launcher that you can use in the beta.

Splitgate 2 is just around the corner and will be released soon across PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
