Ratatan will be available to play in Early Access on Friday, September 19, at 12:00 a.m. JST / 3:00 p.m. UTC / 8:00 a.m. PDT, as announced by Ratata Arts.

This upcoming colourful rhythm-action roguelike is the successor to the PlayStation series Patapon and comes from senior members of Sony's sadly defunct Japan Studio, including composer Kemmei Adachi, game designer Hiroyuki Kotani, and more. Ratata Arts made this announcement during the Ratatan Play Session on August 7 in Tokyo.
The ruins of ancient drums lie hidden in the Jam Jammer Jungle Journey (World 3). Get a dark ritual ready to tackle the deadly wildlife during the journey. Icy Glaciera and her loyal followers rule the Frozen Flower Fantasia. New weapon types like staves, bombs, scythes, and hammers are included in the game, giving a unique experience in combat with enemies.
A livestream will be held on the YouTube channel “AGRS Channel” and Tomokazu Sugita will host it on Sunday, 14th September. New updates, a post-launch roadmap, and upcoming events will be featured in this livestream.

The Ratatan demo that was released on Steam Next Fest accumulated over 200,000 downloads in 1 week. Ratatan is available to wishlist on Steam.
