A new Proton Experimental update was released that includes a couple of fixes. The Finals has been fixed again after a new update to the game, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's cutscenes should no longer crackle during cutscenes on the Steam Deck. There was also a fix for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora having HDD nag, even when it's installed on an SSD.
The new Proton Experimental update should automatically download if you already have the experimental layer. If not, just search for Proton Experimental in the Steam store on your Steam Deck and download.
