Recently, the next version of the stable Proton update went into release candidate testing. Proton 10.0-2 can be tested right now, and while it is coming with a bunch of improvements from the Proton Experimental branch, there is still more being added to it. A few days ago, one such update transpired, where two new changes were implemented in the layer. Xalia has been disabled for the Rockstar Launcher and a windowing regression was fixed due to RiME not behaving correctly when alt-tabbing.
If you want to test out the candidate for yourself, search for Proton 10 in your Steam Deck library and go to the Game Details page. Then, head to the preferences, go to the Betas tab, and click the dropdown menu to change it to "Release Candidate."
