Project Warlock 2 left Early Access this year, and while it has been a solid game overall, I have found it less exciting than the original. While it was buggier than the previous game, a big performance patch just went live that hopes to change all that.

This update for Project Warlock 2 delivers a significant performance overhaul aimed at achieving smoother, faster, and more stable gameplay. The team focused on comprehensive engine and system optimizations for this patch, upgrading to Unity 2019.4.41.f and enhancing AI, scripting, and input handling across the board. Steam Deck inputs have also been fixed when using the controller, as it would sometimes show keyboard prompts instead of gamepad.

Project Warlock 2 is $16.99 on Steam and is rated Playable due to incorrect controller icons.
