I have played a few games that have you hunting dinosaurs, but Prehistoric Hunt looks more unique than the others. Instead of being a more competitive shooter that I was used to, this is more of a co-op play to hunt dinosaurs. You can pose with and hang your hunted dinos in your own trophy room, which is interesting, and the newest update has a lot of improvements that should make gameplay on the Steam Deck better.

The new update brings with it a couple of changes to the UI to make sure it's easier to look at on the Steam Deck. The size of dropdown menu items when creating servers has increased, increasing credits size, fixing spacing in notes menu, better scaling for stats and challenge text, and completely adjusting the How to Play screen to be more consistent and larger. Clicking input fields with the touch screen will also trigger the virtual keyboard now.
There have also been some controller improvements, including the B button being used to exit out of more menus, joystick movement can now be used to activate controller mode, more prompts will show their button icons, and switching tabs with a controller in shop will no longer overlap the UI. There were also fixes for the intro, some small performance improvements, and there's no more text in the notes menu when there's no notes.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Prehistoric Hunt is available for $17.99 on Steam.
