I love seeing new spins on the creature-collector format that Pokémon popularized, and Portal Fantasy looks like one of them. You travel the world on an adventure, collecting and fusing creatures to use in turn-based battles. I like that there are some puzzles and customizable elements to the game, and with new content on the horizon, including PvP battles, it sounds like a good time.

Yesterday, there was a new bugfix update that brought in some nice improvements, including a great one for the Steam Deck. The game now has larger font specifically for players on the Deck to make it more comfortable to play on the smaller screen. Even though I can handle smaller fonts, I do appreciate the care for those who may find it a little too hard to read.
The rest of the update fixes the Golden Gorge cave merchant finally selling shovels, Acorn Village's town hall sign shows the correct text now, collisions have been improved to allow better passage and movement, and Stella now shows her portrait when speaking in Silent Woods.
You can check out the full changelog for the game via their Steam Community Post.

Portal Fantasy can be purchased on Steam for $19.99.
