I am a sucker for ARPGs like Diablo, and I love Ori and the Blind Forest, so when the studio behind Ori, Moon Studios, makes an ARPG, I am immediately sold on it! No Rest for the Wicked is this game, and it comes out into early access in less than 10 hours. I couldn't be more excited, especially with confirmation about it running on the Steam Deck!

In a post on X (Twitter) from Gennadiy Korol, the co-founder of Moon Studios, he talks about the game being playable on the Steam Deck on day 1! He goes a little into the details, mentioning it can hit around 30 to 40 FPS with some minor dips to 20-25 and some cinematic dips. But, the game simulation is always running at 60 FPS, so input for the combat will remain responsive regardless of framerate!

Gennadiy also mentions that image quality and memory will be further improved through the early access period and that he would love to hit a solid 40 FPS on the Deck. He hopes to achieve that throughout the period, and honestly, I hope so too.

I did ask Gennadiy about what they did to get it optimized, but I have yet to hear back. I will update the article accordingly once I get a response. We will also be reviewing the game, so stay tuned for our coverage tomorrow as well.

No Rest for the Wicked will be available starting tomorrow for $39.99.
