I love the whole concept behind Mother Machine. It's a co-op platformer that takes place in procedurally generated alien caves. You'll customize your alien and take on challenges to unlock new looks and mutations we can use for our next roguelike-esque run. It sounds awesome, and while the game is already playable on the Steam Deck, it has gotten a lot better to play on the go.

While the update is a general one, there are two big improvements that should make playing on the Steam Deck much better. We now have full offline support, which means we can play without needing an internet connection. We also got FSR upscaling support, which should help the game play even better on the Deck.
The update also includes a new ability where you can offer a "leg-up" to your friends, allowing them jump higher, new cosmetics and emotes to unlock, and a number of bug fixes across the board, including unwanted falling from ropes and getting stuck in the floor. It's a pretty fantastic update, especially for those playing on the go, so it's awesome.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Mother Machine is $14.99 and rated Verified.
