Even with a rougher start, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is still really cool to play on the Steam Deck. Swinging around the city and kicking criminals butts are just so much fun, and it's awesome to play around with the new tools and fly around. A new update for the game was also just released, which does help a bit on the Steam Deck!

The new update fixes a big issue on the Steam Deck, which could be very annoying when trying to play. If you try to boot for the first time when offline, you will encounter a PSN account link error message that stops you from playing the game entirely. This update fixes the issue, which makes it playable again!
The new patch primarily focuses on the addition of NVIDIA DLSS 4 and support for Multi Frame Generation for RTX 50-series GPUs. This won't really affect the Steam Deck at all, but it is nice to see. We also have some stability improvements that should make it better to play regardless.
You can check out the changelog of the update via their Steam Community Post.
