Life is Strange: Double Exposure is less than a week away from its Advanced Access release (for those who buy the Ultimate Edition), with the full release coming on October 29th. But just what is the game all about?

Well, to fill us in on the mystery you'll be working to uncover in Life is Strange: Double Exposure, is the game's latest trailer, check it out:

The long and short of it is, that Max's childhood friend died in mysterious circumstances, with the police unsure as to what really happened to her. Now, with Max's unique ability to travel between 2 timelines, she can meet up with the alternate timeline version of her friend and discover just what really happened to her all those years ago, as well as putting a stop to the murderer in the alternate timeline.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure launches on Steam on October 29th, it's priced at $49.99. Those who purchase the Ultimate Edition for $79.99 can play 2 weeks early on October 15th.

We still have no system requirements for this one yet, so it's hard to tell how well the game might run on the Steam Deck.
