Lego DC Super-Villains Gets Patch For Steam Deck Verified Badge And Cloud Saves

The LEGO games are some of my favorites to play, with Marvel Super Heroes 2 taking the top spot, but LEGO DC Super-Villains comes in as a close second. Being able to run around and play as DC heroes and villains in an original story with the usual enjoyable exploration, combat, and puzzle solving that the series is known for. I love it, and the latest update seems to have made the experience all the better on the Steam Deck.

Even though the game was released in 2018, it received a new update yesterday with the main focus of getting it a Steam Deck Verified badge. The patch notes don't go into detail about what exactly has changed, but this should mean everything is working correctly, showing the right controller icons, legible text, and no need to change the graphical configuration. We also have cloud save support, so we can transfer saves easily from desktop to Deck.

While being Verified doesn't guarantee a game will be good to play on the Steam Deck, it is nice to see developers doing what they can to make it as playable as possible on the go. I can personally confirm that the game is quite playable on the Deck, and I am happy to see some minor changes being made to make it better to play on the go, especially with cloud saves now being supported.
