Are you getting tired of the base Steam Deck carrying case Valve ships with the Deck? Do you ever look at it and wish there was internal storage or even a makeshift stand for your Deck? Well, JSAUX answered that question awhile ago with their original carrying case, but it seems they are back at it again with a very welcome updated version!

JSAUXNewCase

The Upgraded Carrying Case for the Steam Deck is the upgraded variation of their original case. This case is a little bit bigger than Valves, but has a couple different benefits including storage space underneath the Deck, a MicroSD Card holder, and a makeshift stand, all in a thickened EVA shell. The difference between this version and JSAUX's older model is the expansion to the extra storage. Instead of the storage being in a small pocket underneath the Deck, they redesigned it to lift up and give the storage an entire level of room, allowing for much more storage for accessories like the power supply, a small power bank, a dock (like the DisplayPort dock from JSAUX), cables, and more!

JSAUX Carrying Case Comparison:

With the old carrying case being $20 right now ($30 when not on sale), the upgraded one comes in at $28, which I feel is quite a fair price. I personally use the JSAUX carrying case almost daily as I take my Steam Deck with me to work. JSAUX also claims that, like the old case, the new one will fit any Steam Decks that have hard shell cases like the Killswitch or the ModCase!

While we don't have this upgraded case yet to say definitively how well it works with the new storage, I would say if you're looking for a new case, this would be the one to get! It isn't much more than the old case, which I use, and you are getting a significant amount of more storage!
