When it comes to Steam Deck accessories, JSAUX has always been my go-to for them. Not only are they reliable and sturdy, but they are packed with features that enhance their use as I originally needed them for. I especially love the double-decker carrying case and vertical dock, which can be used for any handheld.
However, the company has started to branch out, making accessories for other handhelds and even a sub-brand that made a controller for mobile phones. However, today, they have announced another new brand, and this one is going to be perfect for us on handhelds.
Today, JSAUX has unveiled Voidjoy, a new sub-brand that is going to focus on releasing controllers. The brand is focused on providing controllers in three different areas, and all of them are going to be useful for us when it comes to handheld or PC gaming.

The first is Portable Controllers. These are controllers that are focused on handheld and mobile gaming, or really any device that takes gaming on the go. So, I assume this is going to mean controllers that are smaller or designed to be easily taken on the go in some way, shape, or form. Traditional controllers aren’t super bulky, but I would be interested to see a more portable type of controller that is built to be taken with handhelds.
They will also be making traditional controllers, which I assume will be very similar to other gaming controllers that exist. And along with both of those, they will be making controller accessories. They mentioned that the traditional controllers will feature “added customization”, while the accessories are meant to enhance the controllers people already own.
While there is no set release date for any of these products, JSAUX will be showing them off for the first time at IFA in Germany around September 4-8. This is where the first look will happen, and most likely when we will finally be able to see how these controllers look.
I’m definitely interested in those handheld controllers, and I want to see how they differ from the traditional controllers. I’m sure there will be some compromises here and there, but I’ll never say no to a more portable option. I’ll be excitedly waiting to see the products. I can’t wait to find out what makes them so special.
The JSAUX links above are using an affiliate link, which gives us a little back from sales at no extra charge to you. All proceeds go back into SDHQ and its development.
