With lots of teasers and showcasing the products, JSAUX has finally released their line of RGB products for the Steam Deck, allowing us to inject some color into our Deck setups. There are 3 products that have been released, though only 2 of them are available to ship now:

The Docks

Starting off the RGB products, we have brand new docks for the Deck. These are sporting brand new designs that haven't been seen from JSAUX before, but I am digging it. The lights are also powered by OpenRGB, so you will have a lot of customization with your lighting. There are two versions to this dock, a cheaper 8 port and more expensive 12 port version:

  • 8-Port Dock - $60 (or $54 with coupon code 7Y10)
    • 1 HDMI
    • 2 USB-A 3.0
    • 1 USB-A 2.0
    • 1 USB-C PD
    • 2 USB-C
    • 1 Gigabit Ethernet
  • 12-Port Dock - $90 (or $72 with coupon code 7Y20)
    • 1 HDMI
    • 1 DisplayPort
    • 2 USB-A 3.2
    • 1 USB-A 2.0
    • 1 USB-C PD
    • 2 USB-C
    • 1 3.5mm Audio Port
    • 1 SD Card Slot
    • 1 MicroSD Card Slot
    • 1 Gigabit Ethernet

While both versions are available to buy now, only the 8-port version is ready to ship. The 12-port one will be ready to ship by the end of August.

The RGB Back Plate

JSAUXRGBBackPlate

Now if you want to inject color directly into the back of your Steam Deck, this is exactly the product for you! This RGB Back Plate has lights directly integrated into the plate and is controlled by a small button on the top right corner of the device. It has its own battery, which can be charged with the USB-C port underneath. There is no OpenRGB integrated into this, so there isn't customizability like the docks have. It is $40 (or $36 with coupon code 7Y10) and is available to ship now.

Just as a heads up, removing the front or back plate of your Steam Deck does require unscrewing and taking your Steam Deck apart a little. Working on the back plate is easier than the front, but still requires you to be careful.

These products definitely look interesting and I am curious about how it will look, but I love the integration of OpenRGB with the docks.
