Grounded 2 is finally out on Steam and Xbox in Early Access after its surprise announcement earlier this year!

I was quite the fan of the first Grounded back in 2020, so I was happy to hear that Obsidian was working on a sequel. Grounded 2 is also available on Game Pass and supports both Xbox Play Anywhere and cross-save. The sequel brings players to Brookhollow Park to investigate its depths close up, and you can explore alone or with friends. I like the look of the new Buggy mount to the game, as I found exploring the original got a little frustrating from running around everywhere!

Grounded 2 is early in development with only the first act of the story mode playable at launch, but there is still a bunch to see and do with a new archetype levelling system, exploring a big chunk of Brookhollow Park, and co-op available out of the box. The optimization needs a lot of work however, so I hope Obsidian works on that ASAP.

Grounded 2 is available on Steam for $30.
