While there are many roguelikes, there's something about God of Weapons that has always stood out to me. You're tasked with ascending a tower to reclaim the last light for the world, and along the way, you will find tons of weapons that you have to organize in your inventory, similar to Resident Evil 4's briefcase. I love inventory management systems like this, and the newest update should make it better overall to play on the Steam Deck.

God of Weapons

The new update focuses more on fixes and small updates here and there, with one entry on the changelog specific to the Steam Deck. They note that they have fixed several different issues that appear on the Steam Deck. While the team doesn't go into detail on which issues were fixed, I can't complain seeing any problems getting patched up that could appear on Deck!

The update also adds missing weapons to the Armory Room, updates translations for different languages, reduces how often the game may freeze right before the loading screen, fixes a problem where Summon Quantity wasn't calculated correctly, and a problem causing improper dashing behavior from heroes has been fixed.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

God of Weapons is available for $5.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.
