Galactic Glitch was released four days ago, and it looks fantastic. The roguelike shooter is brimming with color and looks like a perfect fit for the Steam Deck, but unfortunately, it was plagued with issues that affected the Deck. Well, in their first regular update, developer Crunchy Leaf Games is hitting the ground running with some great improvements and bug fixes for the Steam Deck!

The team behind the game is going all in with their first update, and making it work on the Steam Deck seems to be one of their priorities! In the first patch, which was released two days after the game launched, we had bug fixes that corrected the launch issues that stopped us from enjoying the game fully on the go.

But that's not all! We have some added and improved New Game + modes, better level generation for more variety, more saves to minimize any progress loss, an increase to the maximum weapon upgrade level, fixing achievement bugs, and more. It's an awesome first update, and it gives a lot of confidence in the future of the game and how important it is to the developer.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Galactic Glitch is in early access and on sale for $9.74 to celebrate the launch. It will be on sale until July 29th.
