Sea of Stars has just received a large free story DLC, Throes of the Watchmaker, which is available to play now.

Sea of Stars is a classic RPG that has won multiple awards, and more than 6 million people have played it. Experience a new adventure in Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker. If you haven’t played the game during its original launch, then this is the best time to play Sea of Stars. The eight-hour Throes of the Watchmaker DLC brings new and fresh content to the game.

New playable characters are introduced, along with a new storyline and world to navigate. You can download the DLC for free now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. However, players can also score savings on the Sea of Stars base game.

Sea of Stars’ dual Solstice Warrior protagonists, Zale and Valere, are reunited in Throes of the Watchmaker. These characters need the help of the Watchmaker, who is the main character during this new journey. When her own plight is resolved by the Solstice Warriors, the Watchmaker is ready to help. The Watchmaker creates a miniature clockwork world called Hoeloge where both the Zale and Valere must get inside.

Zale and Valere are required to learn the Horloge’s new rules to realize their potential. Valere learns the Acrobat and Zale learns the Juggler combat class to overcome the difficult challenges.

You can team up with the laser-wielding sharpshooter Artificer to gain new combat abilities and combos to defeat enemies. Play mini-games to challenge the Solstice Warrior’s newfound abilities in classic carnival style. The game's lead Composer, Eric W. Brown, returns with stunning new music for Throes of the Watchmaker as well.

Sea of Stars is available across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. You can purchase the game for $34.99 (excluding the discounts above). Throes of the Watchmaker is a free DLC that adds co-op, combat mechanics, a new world, and more.
