Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO's new trailer, released by Bandai Namco, shows off some fantastic new elements from the Buu Saga. Like any true Dragon Ball Z fan, you'll be jazzed to see just how well things are heating up. Check out the trailer below:
The villain Majin Buu, who can transform from cute to scary in an instant, is the one we're all waiting for. As the trailer above has shown, we will be getting not one, but two of Super Buu's most formidable forms—Gotenks-absorbed Buu and Gohan-absorbed Buu—in addition to Kid Buu. With the stunning visuals produced by Unreal Engine 5, it manages to be both a throwback and a contemporary update. Power comes in response to a need, not a desire. You have to create that need. This new trailer certainly creates that need! (sorry…any excuse for a cheesy quote!)
Reviving the Budokai Tenkaichi series after more than 15 years feels like stepping into a dream for someone who played them as a kid. The arena fights were the meat and potatoes of my youthful gaming experience. ZERO looks set to recapture that magic but with way more depth and visual flair. Fighting in environments that can be destroyed, equipped with chaotic power-ups and massive Ki blasts, gives us the Dragon Ball experience we've been wanting.
And let's face it: Kid Buu's inclusion in the game is sure to cause absolute chaos and I love it!
If you’re like me and have been eagerly waiting for the next chapter in the Dragon Ball fighting game legacy, this is the one to watch. October 11th can't come quick enough. Head over to the Steam page now and add it to your Wishlist today.
